     Shri Saraswati Vidyalya Post Graduate College Hapur.Popularly known as S.S.V. (P.G.) College Hapur .

Location:- The institution with its vast green back drop and  impresive & imposing  building is situated in the heart of GANGA YAMUNA DOABA , and is located on the westen periphery of Hapur town on NH 24 about 56 km from New Delhi . Hapur is located in National Capital Region , and is an important satellite town of NCR.

Feeling the great necessity of primary Education in and arround around  Hapur , Babu Laxmi Narayan along with five other Social workers   laid the foundation of the Sri Saraswati Vidyalya  Junior high School   in Kothi walon ki Dharamshala  on the 3rd Sept 1945. This auspicious day is  celeberated as Smriti Divas every Year since then.

Thereafter realizing  the great necessity of a Premier institution  for Higher  education the S.S.V. PG College was started on 3/09/1951 in the new primacies which is the  present location , For this purpose vast land was donated by Sh. Choudhry Pratap Singh & Sh. Choudhry Naseeb Singh to this samiti at the persuasion of  Babu laxmi Narayan ji a great social worker and his team of devoted associates.

This S.S.V. PG College  has spacious area of 31439 Sq. Meters. The building consists  of a Administrative  Block of Seminar Hall and another   big Hall , Which is used for functions and indoor Games . College building  is constructed in U shape with double story structure  having 74  big rooms.

Faculties :-At present Arts , Commerce and Science streams are running  under graduate as well as  post graduate level  for the overall  development of boys & girls. For the benefit of the students big library , fully equipped with 1.08 Lakh  books & magazines and periodical systematically are shelved  .The science Laboratories are fully equipped  with modern amenities for the benefit of the students at Graduate as well as Post Graduate level . There are spacious play fields ,and  there is a arrangement  to its   training Gymnastics due to which the college holds the credit of  having national , inter universities & university ranking sports. Students have been participating in debate , dramas , essay writings under the banner of Sanskrit Parishad , and have won several prizes in inter University competitions. Students are provided various scholarship  & have many schemes  for the benefit of the students.

NCC & NSS:- NCC & NSS develop  the confidence of self defence  as well as discipline. Therefore to participate in such National schemes a full battalian is Head Quartered  in our premises.

Under   Sri Shiksha  Prasar Smiti a Intermediate College is also running  in the name of S.S.V. Inter College which is functioning under the patronage of UP Board Intermediate Education Allahabad. It has separate campus in which there are  65 Rooms, which run 43 Classes. 6^th To 12 classes are run under U.P. Higher secondary Education pattern with   Arts , Science , Commerce are four  courses offered in Intermediate College. 71 Teachers are giving their able guidance for the benefit of the students in Intermediate College separately . well  Equipped Laboratories are functioning for High School  &  Intermediate classes with  Two Big Sports ground are the asset of the college within campus with separate administrative block . Inter college has separate fully equipped library with some 2000 books.There is separate air cooled Computer laboratory with 5 computers for the training of the students upto intermediate classes as an optional subject.
